Brice Joseph Leith

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Brice Joseph Leith, 22, of Forest, who passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Brice was a radiant presence in the lives of his family and friends—his warm heart and quirky humor matched only by a smile that could light up an entire room. His kindness was boundless, touching the hearts of all who crossed his path, and leaving behind a glow that will never fade.

Born in Bedford County, Virginia, on August 6, 2002, Brice was the beloved son of Webster Leith and Marissa Leith, both of Forest. A graduate of Jefferson Forest High School, Brice worked as a skilled machine operator by trade. He had a deep love for music, which served as the soundtrack of his life. Whether playing, listening, creating, or sharing a favorite song with those he loved, music was his way of expressing joy, comfort, and connection. His passion for melody and rhythm touched everyone around him, and his playlists will forever echo in our hearts.

Brice’s love for family was as strong as his love for music. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his sister, Jalyn Leith of Forest; two brothers, Masyn Leith of Forest and Brandon Leith of Lynchburg; his grandmothers, Karen Stanley of Bedford and Shirley Leith of Trinidad and Tobago; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph Leith and Ray Stanley, and his best friend, Marco Gonzalez, who now welcome him with open arms.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.

A Celebration of Brice’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg, with the Rev. Fred Joseph officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
