Evelyn Janet Turpin

Evelyn Janet Turpin, 67, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on August 5, 2025. She was born on February 4, 1958, to the late Jack sand Clara Wade Turpin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray J. Turpin, Jack E. Turpin and John Haskins and two sisters, Clara “Nissie “Turpin and Mary V. Jones.

She Leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Anjanette Brown and Shelisha Turpin; one son Lewis Turpin; Three sisters, Pastor Dorothy Napier, Pastor Ruth Charlton and Frances Turpin, one brother Carroll Turpin; Three grandchildren, Simeria Brown, Quavion Turpin, Jahcere Turpin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 2:00P.M.
