Harold Cornelius “Chuckie” Christian, 77, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, service, and cherished memories.

Harold was born on February 26, 1949, to the late Harry Byrd Christian Sr. and Willie Mae Dayne Christian. He was raised in a large and loving family, where the bonds of brotherhood, sisterhood, and family remained an important part of his life.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Valerie Ashley and Sandra McDaniel of Madison Heights, VA, and Anita (George) of Concord, VA; his brothers, Randy Christian of Madison Heights, VA, and Harry Christian (Gloria) of Topeka, KS; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

Special Acknowledgment

The family would like to extend a heartfelt and special thank you to Harold’s niece, Carla, and his great-niece, Raven, for the love, care, support, and dedication they showed him.

Their willingness to be there for Harold, helping him and standing by his side when he needed them, meant more than words can express. Their kindness, patience, and devotion brought him comfort and reminded him that he was deeply loved.

The family will forever be grateful to Carla and Raven for the special role they played in Harold’s life, the sacrifices they made, and the unwavering love they showed him throughout his journey. Their compassion and commitment will never be forgotten.

A Life Remembered

As we celebrate Harold’s 77 years of life, we honor not only his service to his country but also the love, memories, and family connections he leaves behind.

Although he is no longer with us physically, his memory will live on through every story shared, every lesson remembered, and every heart he touched.

May we find comfort in knowing that Harold is now at eternal rest, reunited with his beloved wife, daughter, parents, and siblings who went before him.
