Kathleen Collins Cordero

Kathleen Collins Cordero, 50, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away on July 20th, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Nelson Rivera and Evelyn Carrasquillo.

Kathleen was born on November 2, 1974, in Camden, New Jersey.

She was a very loving home health aide, wife, mother to her kids, mother to bear, our pitty baby boy. She loved music and dancing. Her favorite music was salsa and bachata. She loved God very much!

Kathleen is survived by spouse, Virginia Cordero; children, Spencer Angel Carrasquillo-Boone, Isaiah Abel Cortes, Arianna Lynn Arocho, Gabriel Ismael Arocho, Clarissa Nelson; nieces and nephews, Frank Filiberto Villasana-Cordero, Emilio Elvin Villasana-Cordero, Martin Alvaro Garcia, Marcus Jovanni Garcia, Fernanda Villasana-Cordero, Camila Yescas Cordero, Siomara Yescas Cordero, Jocelyn Marie Lemus, Lillian Emily Lemus, and Arianna Giselle Lemus ; sisters-in-law's, Nancy Cordero, Madelyn Cordero and Viviana Cordero; father-in-law, Frank Mark Cordero and mother-in-law Mercedes Santiago; grandmother, Virginia Quinones and grandfather Efrain Cordero; best friends, Kathy and Maria McArthur. Alongside her beloved pet son, Bear Cordero who loved her infinitely! 

four siblings and many loving friends in the community.

A memorial service will be held on July 26, 2025, from 12pm-9pm at the family's residence.
