Kevin Wesley Lusk

Kevin Wesley Lusk, 59, of Franklin County, VA passed away on Monday, September 22nd, 2025. He is preceded in death by grandparents Wesley and Zelma, Willie and Oma and several aunts and uncles. Kevin is survived by father William Lusk and partner Carmella Repaci, mother Faye Weeks and husband Rickford, brother Mark Lusk and wife Tina, step-brother Nick Weeks and wife Livia, and children Jordan Lusk–Hunt and husband Ryan, Corey Cole, and Nicholas Lusk. Kevin is also survived by cherished grandchildren Amelia and Nora Hunt as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kevin was born in Washington D.C. on May 6th, 1966, to William Watson and Vida Faye Lusk. Kevin grew up in Falls Church VA and graduated from George C. Marshall High School. He spent the last 18 years living at Smith Mountain Lake. Since his childhood Kevin always cared tremendously for his family and doing what he could to help others. Kevin enjoyed many different hobbies and activities; he was very invested in shooting pool, fishing, relic hunting, architecture, construction and his family history. Kevin spent most of his time taking care of the many animals he owned, shooting pool, hanging out with friends at the Eagles Club, fishing and he was always building something or doing various projects around his house and property. He also enjoyed spending time at the lake with his uncle Thomas "Tom" Toler.

Kevin will be remembered for his strength, his love for those around him, his resourcefulness and his ability to overcome obstacles with a smile on his face. He was a kind, gentle, loving man with a huge heart. Kevin was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Kevin Wesley Lusk's memorial will be held at Zoar Baptist Church in Catlett, Va on October 11th, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford is assisting the family.
