Ocie Kenneth Hudson, 66, of Lynchburg, died Friday, September 3, 2010.
Ocie was born in Lynchburg, a son of the late Charles Edward Hudson and the late Varnie Riley Hudson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Darcy Hudson; a son: Charles Edward Hudson of Lynchburg, his daughters: Rebecca Hudson of Lynchburg and Michelle R. Maretich of Pennsylvania, a special friend, Joel Enochs of Lynchburg and three grandchildren.
He served our country in the U.S. Army-Airborne during Vietnam, a handy-man helping anyone that needed help and a member of Timberlake Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Timberlake Baptist Church with Pastor James H. Alley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Tharp Funeral Home, c/o The Ocie Kenneth Hudson Funeral Fund, P.O. Box 15008, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
