Ralph Carter Sr. of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at Mount Carmel Baptist Church on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 1:00P.M. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg Location, from 6:00P.M. - 8:00P.M.

Deacon Carter will be open to the public for viewing between the hours of 12:ooP.M. - 6:00P.M. on Thursday, October 9, 2025 and the hours of 8:A.M - 8P.M. Friday, October 10, 2025. He will also lie in repose one hour prior to service for viewing.
