Ronald Nolan , 71, of Amherst, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Ronald Nolan was born on July 29, 1954 to the late Mrs. Rillie Nolan. He was reared in a strong environment. He received Christ at a very early age and was baptized at Craven Corner Missionary Baptist Church in Harlowe, NC. He attended Havelock High School in Havelock, NC and graduated with Honors in June 1973. Ronald was a member of the National Honor Society; Basketball Team - Position played - Guard; Football Team - Position played - Half Back.

After graduating from Havelock High School in 1973, Ronald attended and graduated from Winston-Salem State University, where he earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration in 1977. He was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity,Inc.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Two (2) beautiful adult daughters: Candrice (Khalif) Oliver, residing in Wake Forest, North Carolina and Ashley Nolan, residing in Miami, Florida; One (1) son, Jalen Nolan of Amherst, VA. Five (6) grandsons Jacob and Micah Oliver, Skyler Nolan, Asa Nolan, Asher Nolan and Asante Skeet; 5 Sisters: Juanita Banks of Oveido, Florida; Dorothy Henry Graham of DeBary, Florida; Stella Scott of Brooklyn, NY; Delores Scott of Brooklyn, NY and Betty Nolan of Montclair, NJ; Two (2) Brothers: Edward Nolan of New Bern, North Carolina; Donald Nolan of Allenhurst, Georgia, (his fraternal twin); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends 

A Funeral Service will be held on June 6,2026 at 11:00 am, at Union Hill Baptist Church in Amherst, VA.
