Sandra “SantaFaye” Jones Robertson, 71, of Madison Heights, Virginia, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on October 15, 2025 with her daughter faithfully by her side.
Sandra "Grandma Bailey" was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael “Mike” "Papa Bailey" Robertson, and her parents, Willie and Mavis Jones. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that continues through her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Mike "Bull" Robertson and Shannon "Buddha" "Buddha Bailey" Robertson Peak (Travis), and her cherished grandchildren: Andrew "Andy Bailey" Staton (Kaitlin), Sarah "Bailey" Peak Staton (Garrett), and Ashlyn "Bailey" Peak (James Harris). She was the proud great-grandmother to Wyatt, Michael, Mason, Amelia, Sammie, and a precious little one yet to arrive — one we are sure she is hand-picking in heaven.
She is also survived by siblings, Jerry Jones (Cynthia), Willie Jones (Bonnie), and Robin Smith (Jim).
Sandra also held many dear friends and extended family close to her heart, especially Dana Jones, Alicia Staton, Chris Slusher, Nikky Wright, Deena Richards, Ron Harris, Jay Ayers, and Linda Long.
Sandra was a devoted follower of Christ who lived her life according to His word. Her faith was the foundation of her strength, her compassion, and her unwavering love for others. Sandra’s light, laughter, guidance, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed, but her spirit remains with us — steady, strong, and full of grace.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home in Madison Heights, VA, at 1:00 p.m., with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. A brief graveside interment will take place at Green Hill Cemetery located at 701 W 10th St Buena Vista, VA 24416 immediately afterward.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Sandra’s sister, Robin, and her “bonus children,” Dana Jones and Chris Slusher, for their loving care and support during Sandra’s final days.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
"We love you... to infinity and beyond".
